Ever need to record an important telephone conversation? The TP-7, telephone pickup, makes phone recording two sides of the conversation. Just plug the TP-7 jack into the "MIC" jack of your recorder, and put the earphone side into your ear. When speaking on the telephone, the TP-7 will capture both sides of the conversation for recording by your voice recorder.
Includes adapter to convert from monaural 3.5mm mini-plug to stereo 3.5mm mini-plug. Also includes monaural 3.5mm mini-plug to monaural 2.5mm mini-plug adapter.
* Note: The TP-7 is recommended for cellular phones and landline phones.

so simple to use, and super portable. i use it in conjunction with both my home phone and cell phone,plan to purchase a second one to leave in my car to use.
 Amazing and inexpensive device for recording phone calls Dec 27, 2008
This is a very clever device that plugs into a voice recorder (I use an Olympus DS-2400 Dictation recorder (142015)), and then is inserted in your ear. The microphone is on the outside of the ear (but there's air spaces to allow the sound from the receiver to reach your ear). It works to record both sides of a conversation from either regular or mobile (cell) phones because both your voice and the voice(s) on the other end of the conversation are transmitted through the earpiece of the phone as the standard way such phones work. If you can have all your phone conversations you want to record via speakerphone, you don't need this accessory - just record using a standard lavalier microphone or the one built into the recorder. But if you want to record non-speakerphone telephone conversations without a specialized device or a degree in Electrical Engineering, then this accessory is for you.

This may be a good product, but I wouldn't know. All the ones I have received were dead-on-arrival. Ever the optimist, I will try one more time.
