Great Alarm Nov 23, 2008
Works great, I already had an old sonic boom so I knew what it would be like and this one is great cause you can change the tone of the alarm. It is annoying that you have to set by holding the fast or slow button instead of the hour or minute buttons but its okay. Good alarm clock would buy again and would only get the dual alarm.

I am a heavy sleeper, and I have minor hearing loss. After my young children were late to school for the 2nd time I knew it was time for me to find a better way to wake me up in the morning. I did some research, and found this unit. It has the highest dB rating for an alarm that I could find, and the included attached bed rumbler was very nice.

Pros:
* Bed Rumbler helps to wake me.
* Tone of Alarm is adjustable (good for hearing impaired people as some * have higher tone loss and others have lower tone loss)
* Large L.E.D display (with 2 brightness settings)
* Device has a Snooze button but you need to be mildly awake to find it. (good for those of us who keep hitting snooze)
* You can adjust the dB loudness of the alarm (10 settings)

Cons:
* The device is sturdily made, but feels flimsy in your hands.
* To set time or alarm 1 or alarm 2 you only have the option of slow of fast. Would prefer a hour and minute option instead.
* The cord on the rumbler is a bit shorted then I need (I have a king size bed, and in order to put in the middle of mattress clock has to be literally right at the side of my bed.)

With all things considered I would highly recommend this item to anyone needing a bit more of a nudge to get out of bed in the morning.

The alarm clock appears to be good enough to wake people even though they could have used slightly better materials. There are no better quality vibrating alarm clocks on the market that can be found, so this one appears to be the best choice.
I would question purchasing from Amazon even though they have good pricing. The overseas customer service does not care about the customer and is willing to state things as fact that are obviously not true. USPS confirmed shipping details that directly conflicted with what Amazon overseas customer service insited on.

Eventually you will get the product or they will refund you, but the wait and the stories can be a little frustrating.

When asked about where to put feedback on Amazon, they stated that this was the only place available. It is a shame that there is not a general place that is not product specific, but that would not serve them very well.
